Dear Colleagues,

As Chair of the 2023 Conference Task Force and  President of AGORA Federation, it is my great pleasure to invite you all to Podgorica, Montenegro on September  8-9, 2023 where the heart of AGORA Federation will beat, as we organize the Annual AGORA Conference.

The conference will be held on-site and all sessions will be recorded and uploaded to our conference website, for on-demand use after the conference.

During the conference, we will talk about  “Empowerment to manage our own Live and Care”.

The main aim of our conference is to promote patient skills in living with chronic conditions and their consequences as well as in navigating the system. Through keynotes and workshops will explore best practice examples and discuss the policies required to move an innovative agenda forward; the mind shift required of politicians, patients and professionals; the need to invest in health literacy and to ensure access and support to disadvantaged population groups; and the roles and responsibilities of the various health actors including health insurers, professional organizations and business.

Our sessions promise to offer game-changing insights to build capability, spark inspiration and generate momentum to prioritize innovations that are proven to positively impact the quality of lives for the patients and their caregivers.

AGORA incorporates 12 member countries with 18 member associations representing thus more than 25 million patients across Europe.

At least one representative of our members’ associations will participate and be reimbursed by AGORA. During our 2023 conference, we were 50 participants from 12 member associations from 10 countries. This year, we are going to be more and to have present all our members.

We know that valuable partnerships will be formed at 2023 AGORA ANNUAL CONFERENCE.

You are all warmly welcomed to Podgorica, to share your ideas and your questions, but above all to support our strategies, aiming to reduce the impact of RMDs on those afflicted and to improve their social position and quality of life.
